Mohamed Salah: Four records Liverpool legend can still break before emotional Anfield exit
Mohamed Salah can certainly end his Liverpool career on a high as the Reds prepare for his impending departure from Anfield.
The 33-year-old has confirmed his decision to leave Anfield at the end of the 2025-26 campaign, walking away from an eye-watering salary to discover a new challenge as a free agent.
It will be extremely difficult to replace the fluid forward, who has notched 255 goals and 122 assists in 435 appearances, though Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise has quickly appeared on the club’s radar, reportedly.
Salah’s departure is likely to shift Liverpool’s transfer plans, but with 10 games remaining, including seven Premier League fixtures, there are records left to break for the winger to end his time on Merseyside in style.

Salah is currently tied with Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero for the most Player of the Month awards in Premier League history, all sitting on seven trophies right now.
However, with two full months still remaining, the Egyptian can move ahead of the former Premier League stars and break yet another record at Anfield.
Of course, Kane could still return to England in his final years, but Salah would be able to hold the title until then.
Two records on the horizon with 200 goals for Mohamed Salah
Another nine goals in seven games, and Salah would break two records in the Premier League.
| Mohamed Salah’s Premier League seasons at Liverpool | Goals | Assists |
| 2025-26 | 5 | 6 |
| 2024-25 | 29 | 18 |

| 2017-18 | 32 | 10 |
| 2013-14 (Chelsea) | 2 | 1 |
| Total | 191 | 93 |
While he has not been at his best this term, he is more than capable of achieving these figures, which would see him become the first player to score 200 goals for Liverpool.
He would also become the first African to reach 200 Premier League goals. Incredible numbers.
Seven more assists for greatness at Anfield
Grabbing seven more assists seems more likely than his goalscoring target, given the form he’s been in this season, but he might be determined enough to end his Liverpool career with a serious bang.
Another seven assists would take the Egyptian to 100 assists in the top tier of English football, which would see him become the first African to reach that many in the league’s history.
It is unlikely that Anfield is graced by another player like him, let alone in the Premier League, so seeing the winger break another record would be the perfect ending to his time on Merseyside.
