Mohamed Salah ‘likely to leave Liverpool’ after ‘agreement’ reached
Mohamed Salah is increasingly likely to leave Liverpool in the summer after what has been a turbulent season so far at Anfield.
Saudi Pro League interest in the 33-year-old remains strong and clubs are expected to make formal approaches yet again when the transfer window opens.
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Liverpool may already have an “agreement” with Salah that he can move on at the end of the season.
Despite having picked up four assists in his last five games for the Reds, he has not been his usual prolific self in the final third, leading to growing concerns.
There is now a belief in Arne Slot‘s side that cashing in on the Egypt international may be their best option as they look to continue what has become a transitional period.

Liverpool could accept new Mohamed Salah offer
Football Insider revealed that Saudi Pro League clubs want Salah to finally join in the summer despite turning down interest in favour of a new deal at Anfield last year.
The winger’s contract is set to run until 2027, but he may now be tempted to call time on his spell on Merseyside earlier than originally expected.
“Salah could definitely end up in Saudi Arabia,” Brown told Football Insider.
“It’s something I think could end up happening at the end of the season anyway, there’s just a feeling that he might be on his way out of Liverpool.
“He hasn’t looked like his usual self in that side, he’s not scoring goals the way he used to and he doesn’t look as effective in the way Slot has him playing.
“It’s hard to say for certain what’s changed since last season when he was so brilliant, but it’s clear things aren’t quite right with him at the moment.
“I think there might be an agreement with Liverpool for him to move on at the end of the season, it feels like the right time for it to be honest.

“All the stuff that happened before he want to the Africa Cup of Nations and just the whole thing surrounding him, I think he’ll want to move on.
“The interest from Saudi Arabia is always going to be there, so if they decide it is time for him to move on, then there’s no doubt that will be his destination.”
Salah move accelerated by Cristiano Ronaldo news?
With Saudi Pro League interest in Salah not going away, the latest news about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future could see them accelerate their move for the Egyptian.
This comes after Ronaldo went on strike at Al-Nassr, having refused to play in recent wins against Al-Riyadh and Al-Ittihad amid disagreements over their transfer policy.
Brown told Football Insider on 10 February that Salah would be the perfect replacement for Ronaldo both in terms of his quality and superstar status.

Reports suggest the 41-year-old is expected to return for their AFC Cup clash with Arkadag, but he was absent yet again, adding more fuel to the speculation.
While he has been expected to return to the side at Al-Nassr, his relationship with the club and with the Saudi Pro League may have been soured by his antics.
