Morgan Rogers reacts to Ivan Toney’s message amid Aston Villa exit links
Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers could leave the club this summer after Chelsea increased their pursuit of the midfielder.
It was exclusively revealed by Football Insider that Chelsea have offered two players in a swap deal for Rogers.
The Blues are willing to let defender Tosin Adarabioyo and striker Nicolas Jackson leave Stamford Bridge in order to sign the 23-year-old.
Villa have placed a £100million valuation on Rogers as they battle to keep their stars in this window amid PSR issues.

Rogers reacts to England competition
Rogers has been involved in Villa’s pre-season friendlies, netting against Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2-2 draw against the Bundesliga club.
Former Brentford striker Ivan Toney has also been in pre-season action in the Como cup with Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli.
After their 1-1 draw with Scottish Premiership champions Celtic, Toney took to Instagram to share a picture with the caption: “Working,” which was liked by Rogers.
Toney was selected in Thomas Tuchel’s last England squad despite playing in Saudi Arabia, and the 29-year-old will be a contender to play at next year’s World Cup, potentially alongside Rogers.
Villa and Chelsea walking UEFA tightrope
Football Insider Verdict
Aston Villa and Chelsea have both been warned about their transfer activity in this window and player swapping after both club’s failed their financial regulations.
Both club’s received hefty fines and are now under close supervision from UEFA.
If Villa do let Rogers go they will want as much money as possible for one of their most important players, but Enzo Maresca believes offering Adarabioyo and Jackson could tempt Unai Emery into a deal.
Emery has been exploring a move for Jackson with Ollie Watkins gaining interest from Premier League rivals.
Watkins is also Emery’s only senior striker so the Spaniard needs to add to his striking options.
Rogers’ departure though would leave a creative void behind any striker, which Emery would also need to urgently address.

It has been a quiet transfer window so far for Villa in terms of incomings, and Emery needs to keep strengthening his squad if he is to lead the club back into the Champions League.
Otherwise, Emery has been warned he could face a shock sacking.
