Morgan Rogers responds to Jadon Sancho’s Aston Villa message

Jadon Sancho has sent a message to Aston Villa fans after the disappointment of the 1-1 draw with Sunderland on Sunday.

Aston Villa has made a decision on Unai Emery’s future despite reports speculating on a potential sacking following another toothless display in the Premier League.

Potential replacements for Monchi have been discussed, but now seems to be a time of transition for Aston Villa after the excitement of their Champions League run last season.

The club’s form this season is a worry, but with Jadon Sancho yet to make an impact, things could improve very soon.

Jadon Sancho sends Aston Villa fans message following Sunderland draw

Aston Villa were poor against Sunderland, failing to beat the newly promoted side even when they went down to 10 men following a red card to Reinildo Mandava after 33 minutes of play.

It wasn’t until the 82nd minute that Unai Emery brought Sancho on to the pitch, but he still did enough to suggest he could be an important player for the Villains.

In just 8 minutes, the 25-year-old took 20 touches, had a shot blocked and played 14 passes with an accuracy of 93%. It was a cameo that had fans wanting more, and the winger has sent a message to fans following the disappointing result.

Posting on Instagram on Tuesday (23 September), Sancho said: “Unfortunate not to get the win over the weekend, head up and go again to make things right!”
