Morgan Rogers sends four-word message to Aston Villa fans after dramatic twist

Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers has taken to social media to send a message to the fans after their 2-1 FA Cup win over West Ham on Friday (January 10).

The 22-year-old scored a dramatic 76th-minute winner as Villa beat West Ham in Graham Potter’s first game at the helm, securing progression to the fourth round.

Lucas Pacqueta gave Potter the perfect start, opening the scoring after just nine minutes with a cool finish past Robin Olsen in the Villa goal.

It remained 1-0 going into the break before Amadou Onana finally bagged the equaliser for Unai Emery’s side in the 71st-minute, tapping in from inside the six-yard box after West Ham failed to clear their lines from a corner.

Rogers won the game soon after, ending West Ham’s FA Cup run abruptly and doing his, or Cole Palmer’s, ‘cold’ celebration on a chilly night in East London.
