Morgan Rogers to land ‘huge’ Aston Villa pay rise – O’Rourke

Aston Villa are set to hand attacker Morgan Rogers a “huge” pay rise in his new contract, sources have told Football Insider.

The 22-year-old is in line for a bumper new deal at Villa Park which comes amid a run of stellar form in the 2024-25 campaign.

Rogers only joined Villa in February 2024 on a relatively modest contract after leaving Championship side Middlesbrough.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (4 November) that the Midlands giants do not anticipate any problems in contract negotiations with the attacking midfielder.

It is believed Rogers will be given an uplift in salary to bring him in line with his more senior teammates.

Aston Villa have also recently moved to hand Jhon Duran a new deal following interest from Premier League rivals in the summer window.
