Sissoko shares transfer update on Twitter amid intense Tottenham speculation
By Harry Sykes
Moussa Sissoko has revealed on Twitter that he does not have an agreement to leave Tottenham for another club.
The France international has been strongly linked with a Spurs exit during this summer’s window after a wretched debut campaign following his £30million transfer from Newcastle last summer.
But he insisted on his personal Twitter account on Thursday morning that his followers should “keep cool” as he is not on the verge of leaving White Hart Lane and that all speculation should be ignored.

It has been reported in recent weeks that Sissoko was on the verge of joining Turkish side Trabzonspor on loan, while Marseille have also been strongly linked with signing him.
Sissoko has made little impact at White Hart Lane and has struggled for game time in the team that finished second in the Premier League.

The France international failed to convince in his 34 appearances across all competitions last season, registering just four assists and not a single goal.
However, he was given the nod to start Spurs’ Premier League opening-day 2-0 win at former club Newcastle last weekend.
Football Insider verdict
Sissoko might not have an agreement in place to leave, but Spurs are better off without him. While Mauricio Pochettino is likely to have wanted to recoup some of the £30million splashed on Sissoko last summer, a loan deal might work out best for Spurs. It will enable another club to pay his not inexpensive wages and a loan fee could sweeten the bitter pill of the cost of his overly expensive transfer last summer. A move will provide the Frenchman with regular playing time and the opportunity to enhance his reputation ahead of the World Cup next summer. Sissoko has lost his way and needs to demonstrate on a far more regular basis the marauding runs and powerful play which earned him his 52 international caps and multi-million pound move.
In other Tottenham news, the club are to finalise a £45million-valued signing today after terms agreed.
