
Murillo bids farewell as Nottingham Forest teammate’s transfer is confirmed
Nottingham Forest players were active on social media as they reacted to the departure of a teammate from the club.
Nuno Espirito Santo enjoyed a superb campaign last term with Nottingham Forest, guiding the side to a historic seventh-place finish in the Premier League.
It marked the club’s first qualification for European competition in 29 years, with Forest now set to compete in the UEFA Conference League next season.
As a result, the coach has earned the full backing of the hierarchy, with Forest recently rewarding Nuno with a new contract ahead of the upcoming European campaign.
He’s also been supported in the transfer market, with Botafogo trio Igor Jesus, Cuiabano and Jair Cunha all arriving at the City Ground as part of the club’s ambitious plans.
However, with new signings arriving, departures are also inevitable, and Forest have now confirmed one of their first exits of the summer.

Ramon Sosa completes move to Palmeiras
Nottingham Forest confirmed via Instagram that winger Ramon Sosa has joined Brazilian side Palmeiras on a permanent deal after just one season in England.
The official club post read: “Ramon Sosa has left the Club, joining Brazilian side Palmeiras on a permanent deal. Good luck for the future.”
The announcement was met with several reactions from Forest players, with Murillo and Ola Aina both liking the post as they showed support for their former teammate.
Sosa joined Forest from Argentine outfit CA Talleres last summer but struggled to make a lasting impact.
He made 23 appearances across all competitions, scoring three times, but managed just a single start in the Premier League under Nuno.
While there was Forest fans were initially excited among about the Sosa’s arrival, inconsistent performances saw him fall down the pecking order, with Anthony Elanga and Callum Hudson-Odoi preferred on the wings.

Morgan Gibbs-White could be next to leave Forest
While Sosa’s exit has now been confirmed, another key player could be heading for the exit door in Morgan Gibbs-White.
As exclusively reported by Football Insider, Gibbs-White has already agreed personal terms with Manchester City, with the club working behind the scenes to complete a deal.
It was previously believed that City had ended their pursuit following the signing of Rayan Cherki, but it now appears that Pep Guardiola’s side remain keen on adding further depth to their attacking options.
