Graeme Murty details requirements of what he wants in players for Ranger squad

Rangers manager Graeme Murty has revealed the type of players he wants to add to his Ibrox squad as he continues to look at ways to improve the Light Blues.
Murty has already made four signings so far this month with more expected before the transfer window closes.
The Ibrox boss has brought Sean Goss, Jamie Murphy and Jason Cummings in on loan deals while full-back Declan John has agreed a permanent switch from Cardiff City.
The 43-year-old admitted he wants “dynamic” and “fast-paced” players who can “command possession” as he looks to close the gap on runaway Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic.
“I don’t want to cast aspersions on anyone from outside Scotland or indeed the British Isles. That would not be right,” Murty said, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.
“But the make-up and style of football that I want to play is simple.
“I want to be dynamic, I want to be up-tempo and fast-paced.
“I want to be physical but I also need players who can deal with the football.
“Players who can stand up inside Ibrox and command possession of the ball.
“I talked a while back about the recruitment group and what we were looking for.
“Well, these are the attributes I was referring too.”
Murty and director of football Mark Allen have embarked on a clear strategy to revamp the squad inherited from Pedro Caixinha in October as they look to bring in young, British talent.
The Gers new boys will likely make their first competitive appearance for the Ibrox side when they travel north on Sunday to face Highland League minnows Fraserburgh in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup at tiny Bellslea Park.
Murty’s side get back to league action three days later when they welcome Derek McInnes’ Aberdeen to Ibrox, knowing a win would see them leapfrog the Dons into second place in the table.
In other Rangers news, this international is expected to undergo a medical with the Gers on Tuesday.
