‘Nasty’, ‘Monster’ – Man United fans want Ruben Amorim sacked after ‘new low’ at Old Trafford
Ruben Amorim could be about to seal his own exit from Old Trafford after shifting blame during a recent press conference.
Mick Brown revealed to Football Insider that Amorim remains under pressure as Man United boss, which is likely to be exacerbated by Bryan Mbeumo leaving for AFCON this month.
Man United beat Wolves 4-1 in their last outing, sealing just their second win in six matches, and moving to eighth in the Premier League table. Now, they must face Bournemouth on Monday, 15 December.
Despite everything going on at Old Trafford, much of the noise has been about Amorim potentially falling out with Kobbie Mainoo due to the youngster’s lack of playing time, leaving fans very frustrated.
Even with all the anger and fury over the situation, the manager has now gone one step further, calling out loanees Toby Collyer and Harry Amass, as well as Chido Obi, as the former duo impress in the Championship.

As well as being labelled a “monster” and accused of creating a “nasty narrative”, United fans have pointed out just how wrong his statements are, given that Amass won Player of the Month at Sheffield Wednesday.
One supporter was angry enough to call his words a “sackable offence”, with the manager quickly losing any allies at the Theatre of Dreams, with pressure only building on his shoulders.

Several Man United legends have now spoken out about the baffling decisions made by the man in the dugout, most recently by Paul Scholes, who does not see him fit to lead at Old Trafford.
He shares the same opinion as a growing majority of supporters at the stadium, and press conferences like this only give them more ammunition to doubt his management skills.
While the Owls are seriously struggling in the Championship, sitting bottom of the table with minus nine points after another deduction, Amass has been a shining light at Hillsborough.
The 18-year-old full-back has become one of the first names on the team sheet, notching a goal and assist in his last six games, though the team has still struggled to pick up many points.
Amorim is under huge pressure to turn things around, but moving the conversation onto players who are supposedly struggling away from Old Trafford does nothing but infuriate supporters more.
