Celtic have released their annual Christmas video to a hilarious reaction from fans.

The video, which is essentially a plug for Celtic’s online retail department, features first-team players in a variety of acting roles.

Celtic captain Scott Brown plays a pilot, striker Leigh Griffiths is a taxi driver and manager Brendan Rodgers takes on the role of a bus driver.

The video was released on Friday lunchtime on the official Celtic Twitter account.

The video was greeted with a whole host of amused reactions from Celtic fans on social media.

Here is a selection of the best tweets after the video was unveiled:

Back to matters on the pitch, Celtic face Motherwell this Sunday in the Betfred Cup Final Hampden Park.

The Bhoys will be hoping to bounce back from Wednesday’s 7-1 defeat to PSG in the Champions League group stages in Paris.

Celtic will be defending a trophy that they won last year, after defeating Aberdeen 3-0 in the final thanks to goals from Tom Rogic, James Forrest and Moussa Dembele.

This season the Hoops have defeated Kilmarnock, Dundee and Hibs to reach the final for the second year in a row.

The semi-final saw Celtic defeat Hibs 4-2 in a thriller at Hampden Park, with Celtic goals coming via a double from Mikael Lustig – who seems likely to miss the final due to injury – and a double from Moussa Dembele.
