Nedim Bajrami sends message as Rangers finalise Ibrox loan exit: ‘Vamos’

Rangers announced the exit of Danilo on Tuesday, who has joined NEC Nijmegen on loan with the option to buy.

The Gers were highly active at the end of the winter window, with Ryan Naderi making a late move to Ibrox, ending weeks of speculation.

As a result, Danny Rohl arguably had too many striker options going into the second half of the campaign, resulting in some players being linked away.

Therefore, Football Insider revealed that Rangers were happy to part with Danilo, something that became a reality on Tuesday.

Upon the deal being announced, plenty of people reacted to the news, including Nedim Bajrami.

Danilo had struggled at Rangers all season. The striker had only scored four goals in all competitions, despite making 28 appearances.

By mid-December, Danilo simply could not start matches in the Scottish Premiership, with Rohl preferring other options over the 26-year-old.

The attacker’s lack of goals had been a common trend since he moved to Ibrox in 2023, with him yet to even hit over six goals in a campaign for the Gers.

Therefore, it came as no surprise when his departure to NEC Nijmegen was announced this week.

Nevertheless, he clearly made a big impact on his teammates at Rangers, including Bajrami.

Therefore, when the striker announced his arrival at his new club on Instagram on 4 February, Bajrami commented: “G G G !!! Vamossss,” followed by a praying hands emoji.

How much could NEC Nijmegen buy Danilo in the summer for?

According to the Glasgow Times on 3 February, NEC Nijmegen could sign Danilo for £6million in the summer if his move is successful.

If this goes through, it will be a significant coup for the Gers, getting a very good fee for an attacker who has been ravaged by injuries since his arrival in 2023.

Now, Rohl will be hoping that this will go through, with the striker clearly not part of his plans going forward.

However, only time will tell if Danilo is able to win a permanent contract at NEC Nijmegen, or if he will be back at Ibrox in the summer on the hunt for a new club once again.
