Gary Lineker delivers hilarious Twitter reaction to Liverpool 4-3 win v Man City

Liverpool beat Manchester City 4-3 at Anfield on Sunday to put an end to the Citizens run of games without defeat.
Goals from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Roberto Firminho, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah resigned the Sky Blues to their first loss of the season and their attempt to emulate Arsenal’s record-breaking unbeaten season in 2003/04 left in tatters.
It was a win for the Reds that was greeted with elation by supporters of the Merseysiders and left former England striker Gary Lineker questioning ‘Who needs Coutinho?’ following the recent sale of the Brazilian to Barcelona.

There were concerns for Liverpool after the £142million departure of their 25-year-old superstar regarding how they would manage with the forward who bagged 13 goals in 25 games for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
But after putting four goals past City on Sunday, it would seem as though there is plenty of reason to agree with the ex-England international’s question – ‘Who needs Coutinho?’
The Reds are the second leading goalscorers of the Premier League this season – behind only the Citizens – who have found the back of the net 12 more times than Liverpool.
But with an attack that is as potent as Klopp’s side is, with additions made in the January transfer window, the Merseysiders could be more lethal still if they can resolve their defensive frailties.
