Neil Warnock makes big claim about Leeds squad ahead of Cardiff clash

Cardiff boss Neil Warnock has claimed that Leeds United will take some beating in the quest for promotion this season as his side prepare to host the Yorkshire giants on Tuesday night.
Thomas Christiansen’s Leeds side sit top of the Championship table level on points with the Bluebirds ahead of the midweek showdown in South Wales.
The Whites have undergone a massive change over the summer with their squad looking barely recognisable to the one that failed to earn a spot in the play-offs last term while Garry Monk was at the helm.
However since Andrea Radrizzani completed a full takeover of the Yorkshire club, things have been on the up and Warnock has hailed the strength in depth that Christiansen now has in his side, suggesting that could lead them to promotion back to the Premier League this year.
“I’ve been privileged to manage both clubs and I enjoyed my time at Leeds,” Warnock said to Sky Sports News, as quoted on the Sky Sports website

“They are a big club and similar to Cardiff, a big city with one club where everybody cares.
“They look the part when you look at the team sheet, the substitutes. You can’t keep going on a downward spiral, you have to turn somewhere.
“They look now as though they mean business and will take some moving this year.
“That’s why I am looking forward to the game, it should be a good challenge for us. They play the game the right way and it will be a cracking game, I think.”
Warnock, a previous manager of Leeds under the rule of Ken Bates, has enjoyed a solid start to the season at the Cardiff City Stadium with his team defying the odds to be on level on 20 points with the Whites and big-spending Wolves.
Both of Tuesday night’s opponents go into the Tuesday night game off the back of solid wins at the weekend while Wolves face in-form Sheffield United on Wednesday and will look to capitalise on any dropped points.
In other Leeds United news, fans have urged Christiansen to axe this 28-year-old for the match with Cardiff.
