Dorrans delivers verdict on upcoming Rangers fixtures after win v Dundee
By James Black
Rangers ace Graham Dorrans believes his side never looked like losing today’s Scottish Premiership clash with Dundee after cruising to a 4-1 win at Ibrox.
Goals from Josh Windass, Carlos Pena and an Alfredo Morelos double sealed the three points for Pedro Caixinha’s side as the Gers moved to within three points of league leaders Celtic.
Speaking to RangersTV, as shown on the club’s official Twitter account, the 30-year-old midfielder said: “It was a good win for us, we knew it was important coming into the game for us to get the three points.
“We started well; probably in the first half we could have played a little bit better and managed to get the goal later in the first half and that settled us.
“I thought we were more comfortable second half and controlled the game and I don’t think it was ever in doubt in the second half.”

Dorrans has had a good start to his Rangers career after moving north from Norwich City in the summer.
Alongside Ryan Jack in the centre of midfield, Dorrans has helped build a strong base for Rangers’ attacking players to push on and create chances as well as grabbing a couple of goals himself.
The boyhood Rangers fan is conscious of the Old Firm game on the horizon but insists his teammates will keep their focus on the upcoming double header with Partick Thistle before letting their thoughts drift to the clash with Celtic.
The former Scotland ace told Rangers TV’s Nick Thompson: “We need to build momentum, we’ve got a couple of tough games coming up away to Partick before the Old Firm but we’ll take each game as it comes and hopefully build that momentum.
“We’re all professionals and we’ll start again on monday and prepare for Partick Thistle and that will be first and foremost in our minds now.”
Rangers travel to Firhill on Friday to face Partick in the league before returning in the League Cup four days later.
In other Rangers news, Derek Johnstone has urged the Gers to sign this Championship attacker.
