‘Never leave’ – Tottenham fans react to Dele Alli end-of-season Twitter message
By Amir Mir
Dele Alli has urged Tottenham to “make next season even better” after the conclusion of the final game of the season – and fans on Twitter have reacted in a positive fashion to his message.
The 21-year-old was part of the Spurs side that recorded an incredible 7-1 win against Hull on Sunday afternoon with striker Harry Kane netting a hat-trick.
Attacking midfielder Alli did find the back of the net at the KCOM Stadium as he also provided an assist against the already-relegated side.
He posted a picture of the Spurs squad accompanied by an emotional message to the fans:
“Couldn’t wish for a better group of lads to have played the season with,” Alli wrote on his personal Twitter account. “Thanks to the fans. Let’s make next season even better.”

One fan stated that it was ‘brilliant’ from Alli to end speculation going into the summer as he congratulated him for his successful campaign.
Another urged him to ‘never leave’ after the England international picked up the PFA Young Player of the Year award for the second season running.
Overall, supporters were pleased with the manner in which their season ended and the way in which Alli performed.
