Brendan Rodgers has a balancing act to maintain when he picks the Celtic side to take on St Johnstone at Parkhead when the Bhoys return to league duty on Sunday.
He will want to pick a team that’s strong enough to defeat the Perth side and maintain the lead at the top of the table, yet also will have to take into account the upcoming second leg against Zenit on Thursday.
With the Bhoys in a good position to qualify for the last 16 of the Europa League following the 1-0 win over Zenit, there is no question that the game in Russia is more important than the league match.
However, the match is still there to be won, and the Hoops boss could make four changes from the team which defeated Roberto Mancini’s side.
There may also be a formation change back to a 4-3-3 to fit in the attacking players in the team.
