Newcastle fans' favourite issues impassioned warning to Manchester United ahead of clash

Newcastle United defender and captain Jamaal Lascelles has issued a passionate warning to Manchester United telling them to expect a “dirty and nasty” encounter on Sunday.
The Magpies play host to the Red Devils at St James’ Park looking to exact revenge for the 4-1 thrashing handed out at Old Trafford back in November, while they are also hoping to secure their first win in five Premier League outings after three draws and a defeat.
Lascelles, who was missing for the reverse fixture through injury, has said that Jose Mourinho’s men can expect a tough task ahead of them to secure a result on Tyneside, with the fans’ favourite predicting that the Magpies will be much more up for the fight.
He was quoted on the personal Twitter account of Sky Sports journalist Keith Downey as saying: “We’ll make it dirty and nasty on Sunday.
“They’ve got big players on big wages but I can tell you we’ll have more heart and more hunger than they will.”

The Red Devils currently sit second in the top flight table behind only near neighbours and runaway leaders Manchester City, and come into the clash off the back of a 2-0 win over Huddersfield last weekend.
Newcastle meanwhile find themselves 16th, just one point off Stoke City in the first of the relegation spots, and were forced to share the points with Crystal Palace in their last outing, with a 1-1 draw played out at Selhurst Park.
