Newcastle United are firmly in the hunt to sign Manchester City winger Javairo Dilrosun, according to a report.
The Sun claim the Magpies are one of three English clubs keeping close tabs on the Dutch teenager along with Swansea City and Derby County.
It is said that Dilrosun, 19, is out of contract in the summer and has not agreed a new deal with the Premier League leaders.
This has opened the door to a potential exit for the youngster, with the Sun reporting that he can move overseas for a training fee compensation of £200,000 but will cost an English club £1million.

There is a growing trend of Man City’s brightest hopes developing at the club and attracting covetous glances from rival clubs, before running down their contracts and moving on because they can’t get in the first team. It is similar to the situation at Chelsea, who in recent years have made sizeable profits on highly rated young guns who who have grown frustrated at their lack of opportunities. It appears that Dilrosun will follow the same path as Jadon Sancho, who quit the Etihad Stadium to transfer to Borussia Dortmund last summer. It is a shame that City have spent years developing top teenagers only for their fans to never see them in action.
