Newcastle tipped to seal two late-window signings after update – pundit
Kevin Campbell has tipped Newcastle United to make two new signings this month if Isaac Hayden leaves for Watford.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Arsenal and Everton striker claimed the 26-year-old’s potential exit could “revitalise” Steve Bruce’s side if the money is reinvested wisely.
This site revealed on August 24th that Watford have set their sights on signing Hayden before the window shuts next week.

It is understood that the centre-midfielder, who has long been linked with a return to the south, is keen on a move to Vicarage Road.
Hayden has five years remaining on his contract at St. James’ Park after he penned a new six-year deal last September.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if it would be a mistake for the Magpies to sanction Hayden’s exit, Campbell said:
“Newcastle need to move and shake and freshen things up and if he leaves I think they could bring in one or two more.
“I think they need that. A couple of fresh faces could revitalise that team. They’ve been stagnant for a little while now.
“If he wants to go down back down south you don’t stand in his way if the money is right.
“Let him leave and get somebody else in. I’m sure Newcastle will have targets.”
Hayden has started the first two games of the 2021-22 campaign for Steve Bruce’s side.
However, he is currently sidelined after suffering an injury against Aston Villa on Saturday.
