Newcastle United fans have called for the club to complete a deal to sign Dutch midfielder Xavi Simons from PSG this summer.
Reports claimed the club had made contact with PSG over a potential deal for the midfielder after his performances at Euro 2024.
Simons scored a fantastic strike from outside the box against England, whetting the appetites of supporters who are now calling for Newcastle to sign him.
The 21-year-old made six appearances at the Euros, scoring one goal and providing three assists to help his team reach the semi-final.
He is expected to depart PSG just one year after making the move from PSV, having spent last season on loan at RB Leipzig, with clubs across Europe poised to swoop.

Fans have described the potential deal as “special”, “incredible” and a “dream”, demanding their club make a shock move to bring him to St James’ Park.
