Newcastle told to reject Allan Saint-Maximin offer after Instagram reveal
Newcastle should keep Allan Saint-Maximin despite the player being linked with a move elsewhere.
Speaking exclusively to Football insider, former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has claimed that the Magpies should keep hold of the French especially after qualifying for the Champions League.
Saint-Maximin is emerging as the latest Premier League star to be targeted by the Saudi Pro League alongside interest from the Premier League with Everton and Crystal Palace also keeping tabs on the player.
This development comes after Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (6 June) that Newcastle will consider offers for Saint-Maximin this summer in a bid to raise transfer funds.
Saint-Maximin took to his Instagram on Tuesday (6 June) to pen a message to the Newcastle fans – thanking them for everything and claiming he has now “reached a turning point” in his career.
With a potential move on the cards, Agbonlahor believes that Newcastle should be doing everything in their power to keep him at the club.
“I’d Keep him to be honest,” He told Football Insider.
“Newcastle got rid of a lot of players who are not good enough, but Saint-Maximin is.

“He would be a player that would shine in the Champions League next season.
“Newcastle need a lot of options and strengthen, so if the Magpies pick up a couple injuries that will end up frustrated that they ended up selling Saint-Maximin.
