Sources: Newcastle United submit £35m bid for Everton sensation Anthony Gordon
Newcastle United have submitted a £35million bid for Everton sensation Anthony Gordon, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The Premier League big spenders have made a move for the winger, 21, as they look to strengthen their attack in this summer’s window.
A Newcastle source has told Football Insider that they have offered £35m for Gordon after identifying him as a top talent with the potential to develop under Eddie Howe.

Everton are mulling over their response to the bid for the rising star, who made such a big impact last season.
There could be a furious response from supporters if Gordon is sold following the sale of Richarlison to Tottenham last week.
Intriguingly, Gordon was also targeted by Tottenham as part of the £60m deal that took Richarlison to north London (Sky Sports, June 27).
But he stayed put as Everton held firm over keeping an academy product who has risen through the ranks to establish himself in the first team.
The Liverpool-born youngster played an integral role in the Merseysiders staving off relegation last season.
He started 25 Premier League matches and his 40 appearances in all competitions yielded four goals and three assists.
Gordon also racked up six yellow cards, four of which came in Premier League games.

Everton are unable to spend big this summer without first meeting the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.
The potential sale of Gordon would lead to further questions about the competency of the Farhad Moshiri regime.
