Newcastle United tipped to axe Jacob Murphy and senior teammate after early team news confirmed – expert
Ryan Fraser and Allan Saint-Maximin will replace Jacob Murphy and Miguel Almiron for Newcastle United’s trip to Everton.
That is the view of ex-Tottenham and England number one Paul Robinson, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about potential changes to Eddie Howe’s starting XI at Goodison Park.
Fraser, 28, and Saint-Maximin, 25, were second-half substitutes in Newcastle’s 1-0 loss to Chelsea on Sunday.

The duo were working their way back to full fitness after injury and illness respectively.
As quoted by the Chronicle (16 March), Eddie Howe revealed Jonjo Shelvey and Joelinton are the only doubts for Thursday’s trip to Everton.
When asked if he expected Fraser and Saint-Maximin at start the Premier League clash, Robinson told Football Insider:
“I’d expect Fraser and Saint-Maximin to come back in for this one.
“Fraser has improved a lot under Eddie Howe. He has taken his opportunity. The fact that he can play on the right or the left makes him an attractive option for Howe.
“Saint-Maximin is Newcastle’s best player so when he’s fit he plays.
“They both got some minutes under their belt at Chelsea so I’d expect them to start at Everton.
“I think they will probably come in for Murphy and Almiron. They would be the obvious choices to make way.”

Fraser has contributed two goals and three assists in 23 Premier League appearances this term.
Saint-Maximin has five goals and three assists to his name in 25 games.
