Newcastle United’s Tino Livramento sends ‘proud’ message as transfer confirmed
Newcastle United star Tino Livramento has taken to social media following a confirmed transfer away from St James’ Park.
The 22-year-old full-back has become an incredibly useful asset to Eddie Howe‘s side, maintaining a near-flawless disciplinary record as the Magpies secured Champions League football and won the EFL Cup.
Performances have seen Livramento gain the interest of Man City this summer, though Pep Guardiola’s side may even have to splash £165million to secure his services ahead of next season.
While the attacking side of football is not the player’s bread and butter, notching just one goal and two assists in his 80 appearances for the club, he remains one of the most important stars.
Now, the full-back has reacted to one of the latest transfer updates emerging out of Ligue 1 as his close friend, CJ Egan-Riley, joins Marseille after leaving Burnley as a free transfer.

Taking to Instagram stories (15 July), Livramento wrote: “Proud of you, brother,” as the talented centre-back was unveiled as Marseille’s newest addition to the squad.
The Man City academy product made 43 appearances at Turf Moor last season, helping to form a record-breaking defence in the Championship, before running down his contract until this summer.

Scott Parker to lose several Burnley stars
Football Insider verdict
While Newcastle will be looking to improve on next season, getting out of the Champions League group stage and pushing for a higher Premier League finish, Burnley are likely to face the opposite.
Joining Leeds United in the top two spots last season, it will be an extremely difficult task for the Clarets to avoid the relegation zone next term, but Scott Parker is getting the business done this summer.
Having already signed the likes of Jacob Bruun Larsen, Kyle Walker, Loum Tchaouna, Axel Tuanzebe, and even Marcus Edwards on a permanent deal, Parker has every chance of keeping this team up.

Losing Josh Brownhill on a free transfer is a huge blow for the Clarets, and Football Insider understands that Newcastle are ready to bid £40million for James Trafford.
After such a successful campaign in the second tier of England, it is unsurprising to see so many stars linked with moves away, but Burnley need to hold onto the bulk of the squad this summer.
Parker’s success with the team next season relies on working with many of the same players, with new talent added to help deal with the strength and pace of the Premier League.
