Medical scheduled: Everton set to make third biggest-ever signing after breakthrough
By North-west correspondent Alex Stevens
Oumar Niasse has arrived at Everton to undergo a medical after agreeing the terms of a £13.5million move, Football Insider sources understand.
The Merseysiders have had a bid accepted for the striker by Lokomotiv Moscow and are hopeful of completing the deal before Monday night’s transfer deadline.
Niasse is at Everton’s Finch Farm headquarters on Monday afternoon to discuss personal terms and complete medical tests.
The 25-year-old is in line become the club’s third most expensive signing, behind only Romelu Lukaku, who joined from Chelsea for £28million in 2014, and Marouane Fellaini, who arrived in a £15million transfer from Standard Liege in 2008.
Manager Robert Martinez has landed Senegal international Niasse after selling Steven Naismith to Norwich for £8.5million earlier in the window.

Niasse has bagged 13 goals and supplied 10 assists in 23 matches this season, with four of his goals coming from just six Europa League appearances.
