West Ham striker Niclas Fullkrug has taken to social media to share a training ground update ahead of their crucial Premier League clash with Wolves on Monday (December 9).
The 31-year-old made his first club appearance since August 31st in West Ham’s 3-1 Premier League defeat to Leicester in midweek.
Fullkrug came off the bench to score a 93rd-minute consolation goal, his first for the club, getting on the end of Crysencio Summerville’s corner.
Julen Lopetegui’s side have been without the striker for a total of 85 days after he picked up an Achilles while on international duty with Germany.
The former Borussia Dortmund man has started just one of his five games across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing zero assists in 148 minutes of action.
West Ham go into the game against Wolves five points ahead of their opponents, who sit in 19th, as Lopetegui clings to his job.
