Nicolas Jackson bids farewell to teammate after he leaves Chelsea
Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson was among the players to react after another exit was confirmed, with his own future at Stamford Bridge still under speculation.
It has been another busy summer for Chelsea, with the club overseeing a string of arrivals and departures as they continue reshaping the squad.
Most of the new signings were secured early in the window, with Chelsea completing deals for Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens, while several big-name exits have also balanced the books.
Noni Madueke sealed a move to Arsenal, Joao Felix made his permanent switch to Al-Nassr, and Football Insider revealed Bayern Munich have opened talks to sign Jackson in the final days of the window.
With his own future increasingly uncertain, Jackson was among those to respond to the news of yet another player leaving Stamford Bridge as the summer window edges towards its conclusion.

Aaron Anselmino completes Borussia Dortmund loan move
With Chelsea continuing to manage their oversized squad, the club are offloading several young talents on loan — and Aaron Anselmino has now completed a switch to Borussia Dortmund.
Both Chelsea and Dortmund confirmed the news on Instagram, with Jackson among those reacting by liking the announcement, alongside Tosin Adarabioyo and Marc Guiu.
The 20-year-old joined Chelsea in the summer of 2024 for a fee of around £15million, before being Anselmino was loaned back to Boca Juniors for the remainder of the season. He was recalled to Stamford Bridge in January but made just one senior appearance for the Blues.
Before his move, Anselmino had already established himself as a key player at Boca Juniors, starting 18 of his 25 matches across all competitions, and now takes his talents to Germany.
Selected Chelsea exits | Fee |
Aaron Anselmino | Loan |
Renato Veiga | £25m |
Noni Madueke | £52m |
Kepa Arrizabalaga | £5m |
Joao Felix | £25m |
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall | £25m |
Aston Villa set to walk away from Nicolas Jackson deal
While Jackson shared his reaction to Anselmino’s loan exit, the striker himself looks increasingly likely to depart Stamford Bridge, with Bayern Munich now advancing in talks for his signature.
Aston Villa were also credited with interest but Football Insider revealed Unai Emery’s side are ready to walk away from a potential deal for Jackson. The Midlands club are unwilling to meet Chelsea’s £60million asking price and talks have failed to progress.
It is understood Bayern could instead secure the forward on a deal before the transfer window closes, leaving Villa to look elsewhere for attacking reinforcements.
