Nicolas Jackson’s Bayern Munich reveal has given Chelsea a new problem to solve
Nicolas Jackson has revealed his stance on making his loan move from Chelsea to Bayern Munich a permanent one.
Bayern could look to sign Jackson permanently even if he doesn’t meet the attendance criteria needed to trigger their £56.3million obligation to buy the striker.
The Senegal international was deemed surplus to requirements by the Blues after they signed both Liam Delap and Joao Pedro in the summer transfer window.
However, Delap subsequently suffered an injury, while Enzo Maresca has not instilled faith in back-up option Marc Guiu.

Nicolas Jackson feels at ‘home’ since joining Bayern Munich from Chelsea
Jackson featured as a late substitute against his parent club when Bayern Munich defeated Chelsea 3-1 in their Champions League opener last month.
The 24-year-old went on to notch a goal and an assist when Vincent Kompany’s men defeated Pafos 5-1 on Tuesday, 30 September.
Speaking to the press after Bayern’s comprehensive win in Cyprus, Jackson said: “I’m very happy here, everyone welcomed me very well. I feel at home.
“We’ll see what the future brings.”
Therefore, Jackson appears to be angling for a permanent move to the Bundesliga, meaning that Chelsea will have to sign a new forward next summer.
Delap has already suffered an injury setback, while Maresca’s team selections have made it clear that he does not trust Marc Guiu.
Young winger Tyrique George was trusted in the previously unfamiliar striker role when Chelsea defeated Benfica 1-0 on 30 September.
However, George cannot be a permanent solution, having scored just four goals in 31 senior appearances for the Blues.
Nicolas Jackson reaps the benefits of Harry Kane’s new role
Kompany has shown that he trusts Jackson by starting him in the Champions League, meaning that Harry Kane had to drop deeper from his usual role as the lone striker.

Kane has been in incredible form this season, with 10 goals in five Bundesliga appearances, as well as four goals in two Champions League outings.
Jackson combined well with the England international, as the duo both made two goal contributions against Pafos.
The fact that Kane has proven he can still be prolific in the ‘number 10’ slot is a huge development for Jackson, who can play alongside the 32-year-old, as well as deputising for the 32-year-old.
Meanwhile, Kane is likely to stay at Bayern Munich, even though Thomas Frank admitted that he would love to have the striker back at Tottenham.
Both the Englishman and Jackson will look to continue their goal scoring form when Bayern face Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday, 4 October.
