Noni Madueke and Marc Cucurella react to ‘great’ Dewsbury-Hall Chelsea message
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has gained the attention of multiple Chelsea teammates after his performance against Legia Warsaw in the UEFA Conference League.
Having managed just 1,383 minutes for the club prior to their quarter-final clash, Dewsbury-Hall played the full game as Chelsea breezed past the fifth-placed team in Poland.
Tyrique George scored his first senior goal for the Blues before substitute Noni Madueke bagged a second-half brace to put the game out of sight.
With the tie all but over before the second-leg at Stamford Bridge next week, the only concern for Enzo Maresca will be the missed penalty from the struggling Christopher Nkunku.

The post certainly caught the attention of his Chelsea teammates with the likes of Madueke, Marc Cucurella, Reece James and Tosin Adarabioyo all reacting to it.
Dewsbury-Hall looks to finish strongly under Enzo Maresca
Football Insider Verdict
The 26-year-old’s first season at Chelsea would not have gone to plan so far following his £30million deal from Leicester City last summer.
In an interview after the game in Poland, he suggested that his experiences this year have helped him “grow as a person and a player”, but Dewsbury-Hall will be hoping that his lack of game time does not continue into the next campaign.
Dewsbury-Hall overall stats 24/25 |
Games – 25 |
Goals – 3 |
Assists – 3 |
The midfielder has contributed to six goal contributions in 25 games, in the form of three goals and three assists, which is a decent return considering the circumstances.
Despite missing some chances against Legia Warsaw, the former Foxes man showcased promising late runs into the box, which could add another dimension to Maresca’s midfielder before the end of the season.
It remains to be seen whether the Englishman can force his way into the Italian’s plans on a more consistent basis, but Dewsbury-Hall‘s performance in the Conference League will be food for thought for Maresca.
