Noni Madueke bids farewell after confirmed Chelsea exit news

Noni Madueke has taken to Instagram to wish Carney Chukwuemeka good luck after his confirmed move from Chelsea to Borussia Dortmund.

The Blues confirmed that the 21-year-old has joined the Bundesliga side on a loan deal until the end of this season in a bid to continue his personal development.

Football Insider revealed that the midfielder turned down potential moves to Everton and West Ham during the January transfer window in favour of Dortmund.

Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that a move to the German giants was seen as the ideal next step for his career and will allow him the opportunity to gain regular game time.

That’s something that Chukwuemeka has struggled to achieve at Stamford Bridge this season, only featuring five times this season.

The midfielder has made 37 Premier League appearances throughout his career for Chelsea and Aston Villa, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
