Noni Madueke sends message to Chelsea sensation Sam Rak-Sakyi

Chelsea ace Noni Madueke has taken to social media to congratulate Sam Rak-Sakyi on making his first-team debut in their 3-1 Europa Conference League win over FC Astana on Thursday (December 12).

Rak-Sakyi, 18, was one of four academy start to make their first-team debuts in the sub-zero temperatures of Kazakhstan, playing 86 minutes.

The central midfielder ended his game with a 99 per cent pass accuracy rate, having had 100 touches, and won 100 per cent of his aerial duels.

Chelsea’s win over FC Astana keeps them at the top of the new Europa Conference League league phase having won all five of their games, scoring 21 goals in the process.

Madueke, 22, has established himself as a key player under Enzo Maresca, starting 13 of his 17 appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals and providing two assists in 1070 minutes of action.

The winger took to Instagram after the game to congratulate Rak-Sakyi on an impressive first-team debut, captioning his story: “Amen… Congrats lil bro.”

Maresca has his side in a title race even if he doesn’t want to admit it, guiding Chelsea to second with 31 points from 15 games, four behind league leaders Liverpool who have a game in hand.

Chelsea host fellow West London club Brentford on Sunday (December 15) as they seek to keep the pressure on Arne Slot’s side.
