Noni Madueke sends message to Scottish Premiership star after his heroics
Arsenal forward Noni Madueke reacted after Tyreece John-Jules scored a spectacular hat-trick for Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership.
The winger was on the scoresheet himself as Arsenal drew 1-1 with Brentford on Thursday night, in a blow to their Premier League title hopes.
The Gunners’ lead at the top has been cut to just four points after this week’s action, with Man City likely to be growing in confidence.
Former Arsenal youth star John-Jules is not the only former Gunner to light up the Scottish Premiership this week, after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored on his Celtic debut.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has signed an initial deal with Celtic until the end of the season, with the hope being that the midfielder can regain his fitness and stay on further.
Noni Madueke sends message to Tyreece John-Jules
John-Jules career so far has been one of huge struggle against consistent injury trouble. The striker came through Arsenal’s academy and spent several years out on loan.
The second of these, at Doncaster Rovers, would result in his first big layoff through injury, and the issues have never gone away.
Every season since has seen John-Jules spend a significant amount of time on the injury table, and he was released by Arsenal in 2024.

After a disappointing spell with Crawley Town last season, the 24-year-old was without a club until he signed a short-term deal with Kilmarnock in October.
Initially just a deal that would see John-Jules stay until January, the agreement was extended until the end of the season after he scored in games against Falkirk and Aberdeen.
In recent weeks, however, the former England youth international has gone up another level completely.
The forward netted and assisted in a win over Aberdeen at the end of January, and on Wednesday, he scored a stunning hat-trick.
The pick of the bunch, his first goal, saw him find the net with a sensational acrobatic effort.
John-Jules took to Instagram to share a picture of himself with the match ball, to which Madueke commented: “My nine!”
Former and present Arsenal stars collect to congratulate John-Jules
John-Jules’ talent was always evident. The striker scored goals for fun at the youth level for Arsenal, but the injuries have always held him back.
Finally, however, the Englishman appears to have shaken off some of those problems, and is enjoying his football once again.
Arsenal star Max Dowman was also in the comments congratulating John-Jules, and he was joined by the likes of Brooke Norton-Cuffy, Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe.
Portsmouth striker Conor Chaplin, who spent time with the striker at Ipswich Town, wrote: “Beauty is in the journey brother. Bulletproof mentality”.
