'Gutted', 'As good as I have seen' - Norwich fans rage as Middleton leaves to join Rangers

Highly rated Norwich winger Glenn Middleton has left the Carrow Road side to join Scottish giants Rangers on a two-and-a-half year deal – and Canaries fans are furious at letting the 18-year-old leave.
Middleton’s signing was confirmed by the Light Blues’ Academy Twitter account as the Gers continue their impressive rectuitment in the January transfer window.

Middleton is the sixth new face at Ibrox this month after Jamie Murphy, Sean Goss, Jason Cummings, Greg Docherty and Russell Martin all joined the Gers ahead of the second-half of the Scottish Premiership campaign.
The 18-year-old never made his senior debut for the Canaries but was a regular in their Under-23 side competing in Premier League 2 and Norwich fans think their club will come to regret letting the youngster go – with one saying he was their “best youth player.”
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

Middleton has previously worked with Gers boss Graeme Murty after being coached by the Scotland international when he was part of the youth set-up at Carrow Road prior to his move to Ibrox in August 2016.
The Scotland Under-19 international has played seven times for the Under-19 side and was involved in November’s UEFA European Championship Qualifiers against Luxembourg, Armenia and Czech Republic.
Middleton’s Ibrox contract runs until the summer of 2020.
