'It's not nice' - Josh Murphy issues warning to Leeds ahead of clash against Norwich
By Matt Bullin
Norwich midfielder Josh Murphy has told the official Norwich website he wants to “spoil Leeds’ party” ahead of the sides’ crucial Championship tie on Saturday.
Leeds welcome Murphy and Norwich to Elland Road as they hope to break back into the play-off places after a disappointing few weeks.
Leeds were beaten 2-1 by Burton Albion last weekend, as Kyle Bartley’s header was not enough to cancel out goals from Marvin Sordell and Michael Kightly.
Meanwhile Norwich beat league leaders Brighton 2-0 in their last game as two own-goals from David Stockdale secured the Canaries three points against the already promoted Seagulls.
Murphy, 22, has impressed many since he broke onto the scene at Norwich at the beginning of the season.

The England Under-20 international has played 34 league and cup games for his side, and has contributed to 17 goals (scored nine, assisted eight).
Speaking on the official Norwich website, Murphy admitted he was out to get Leeds on Saturday: “Leeds are looking to stay in the play-offs so it’s going to be a tough game.
“We spoiled Brighton’s party last Friday and now it’s about spoiling theirs. We know we should be in their position; it’s not nice that we’re not and there’s no question we can go there and get a result.”
When the sides met earlier in the season Leeds escaped from Carrow Road with all three points after winning a five-goal thriller 3-3.
Pontus Jansson and Chris Wood had handed the Whites a 2-1 lead, after Robbie Brady’s opener, only for Kyle Lafferty to equalise in the 88th minute.
However it was Leeds who has the last laugh as Ronaldo Vieira slotted home in the 90th minute to claim the victory for his side.
Garry Monk’s side will hope for a similar result come Saturday as they look to move back into the play-off.
