Tottenham fans urge Pochettino to ignore 23-year-old and start attacking duo v Watford
By Will Butcher
Tottenham fans have urged Mauricio Pochettino on Twitter to combine Vincent Janssen and Son Heung-Min in the final third against Watford on Saturday.
The duo connected during the last-gasp 3-1 win over Swansea on Wednesday night, as Janssen’s neat flick sent an onrushing Son through on goal to give Spurs the lead.
Top scorer Harry Kane is set to return from an ankle injury, but fans are desperate to see Pochettino only use Kane if at all necessary at White Hart Lane.
South Korea international Son has been in sublime form for Spurs this season, scoring 16 times and providing another seven goals in assists during his 38 league and cup appearances.
However, former AZ Alkmaar striker Janssen has not found the going as easy, scoring just five times but a recent spike in his performances has earned fans’ confidence.

Now, the duo could combine as Spurs fans take to Twitter ahead of the match, calling on Pochettino to start both instead of picking one or the other.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:
Start Janssen and Son, bring on Kane in 2nd half plz #COYS ????

Are we really thinking of playing Harry straight away? Surely Jan & Son deserve to start and only bring Harry in if necessary #COYS

Personally I'd start VJ on Saturday with Son, don't rush Kane back but if we NEED him have him on the bench as an option #COYS

Spurs will be desperate to see a repeat of the reverse fixture at Vicarage Road back in January, that saw Kane and in-form playmaker Dele Alli both score twice in a 4-1 win.
Three points will reduce the gap between Spurs and league leaders Chelsea to just four points, before Antonio Conte’s side travel to the Vitality Stadium to face Bournemouth on Saturday evening.
