O'Kane delivers brutally honest verdict on Leeds defeat at Millwall
By Danny Wright
Eunan O’Kane has admitted that Leeds United didn’t deserve anything out of their clash with Millwall on Saturday.
The Whites succumbed to their first defeat of the season and their first loss under the charge of Thomas Christiansen as Millwall won 1-0 at the New Den thanks to a second half goal from Aiden O’Brien.
O’Kane, 27, featured for the entire 90 minutes of the defeat in London and has since taken to his personal Twitter account to deliver a brutally honest assessment of how the game unfolded.
“Our performance didn’t deserve anymore than we got today. Thank you to the two thousand travelling fans,” he said after the game.

However there were poor performances across the pitch as Millwall controlled proceedings and did well to nullify the Whites’ dangerous counter attack.
Leeds remain top of the Championship table despite suffering their first defeat of the campaign and conceding their first league goal since the opening day win over Bolton.
Wolves and Cardiff managed to catch up to the Whites’ 17 points total, but the Yorkshire club stay top of the pile thanks to their superior goal difference.
Next up for Leeds is a trip to Turf Moor to take on Burney in the Carabao Cup when Chris Wood gets the chance to play against his old side for the first time since his summer exit.
