O’Kane delivers Twitter verdict after Leeds victory over Derby
By Dominic Toner
Eunan O’Kane expressed his delight on Twitter with Leeds’ win against Derby on Friday night.
The Whites recorded a 1-0 victory at Elland Road in the Championship, with Chris Wood scoring a headed goal from a corner on the stroke of half-time.
Garry Monk’s side moved up to third in the league table with the three points and delivered one of their best performances of the season in the process.
O’Kane is currently edging back to full fitness after suffering a groin injury and was fit enough for the bench against Derby.
He hailed a “great performance” against the Rams as Leeds’ unbeaten streak stretched to seven games.

Leeds have emerged as serious promotion candidates this season and will now be hoping to catch second-placed Newcastle in the automatic spot, who are currently four points above them.
The Yorkshire club have been in great form recently and they totally outclassed Steve McClaren’s Derby on Friday.
O’Kane now may face a battle to get back into the starting XI as 18-year-old Ronaldo Vieira was sensational against Derby.
He has filled the central midfielder void in recent games and is emerging as an important player for Monk.
O’Kane has not featured for Leeds since he was forced off injured in the EFL Cup quarter-final against Liverpool in November, but his imminent return is set to give Monk a selection headache.
In other Leeds news, the club’s supporters reacted on Twitter to Luke Ayling’s display against Derby.
