It’s McGee’s first loan move after turning professional at Tottenham in the summer of 2014.
He is highly regarded in north London and in October 2015 he extended his contract until 2019.
However, Mauricio Pochettino’s side boasts France international goalkeepr Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm meaning that McGee may need further loans in order to gain match experience.
Peterborough are currently sat in ninth place in England’s third tier and fans of the club will be hoping McGee can help them in their quest for promotion.
In other Tottenham news, Gary Neville says Mauricio Pochettino has transformed Mousa Dembele, Kyle Walker and Danny Rose in the last two years.
