Goalkeeper Luke McGee, who’s currently on loan at Peterborough from Tottenham was awarded the club’s player of the month – and Posh fans took to Twitter to hail the youngster.
The 21-year-old completed a move from Spurs to the League One outfit on transfer deadline day, which will see him stay in Cambridgeshire until January.
He has made seven appearances for Grant McCann’s side and his performances for the club in September saw him awarded as the club’s player of the month, voted by fans.
Buzzing with that win! Fans were class 👏🏻 Thanks to everyone who voted me Player Of The Month too 🙌🏻❤️ #UTP

It’s McGee’s first loan move after turning professional at Tottenham in the summer of 2014.
He is highly regarded in north London and in October 2015 he extended his contract until 2019.
However, Mauricio Pochettino’s side boasts France international goalkeepr Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm meaning that McGee may need further loans in order to gain match experience.
Peterborough are currently sat in ninth place in England’s third tier and fans of the club will be hoping McGee can help them in their quest for promotion.
