Michael Brown is convinced West Brom have secured themselves a “brilliant” bargain by signing Robert Snodgrass from West Ham this month.
The former Leeds and Tottenham midfielder, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, has been left raving over his former Elland Road teammate and insisted the Baggies have got a great player for a low price.
West Brom confirmed the signing of the 33-year-old, who was set to be out of contract at West Ham this summer, on Friday afternoon.

He had struggled for game time at the London Stadium this season, with just four minutes of Premier League game time under his belt.
However, Brown believes Snodgrass will have a massive impact on the West Brom dressing room and that the Baggies have managed to pull off a bargain.
“What was the fee? I’m not sure there was much there,” Brown told Football Insider.
“I don’t think there was a lot there, he was out of contract this summer so I don’t think there was much to pay.
“I played with him at Leeds, he’s brilliant in the dressing room, one of the best. He’s right up there, great lad, a great engine.
“I think he’ll be someone to get after those West Brom teammates and again, it’s another couple of years for Robert Snodgrass. He’s a true pro, it’s a shame West Ham have lost him but he’ll just have been frustrated, he wants to play football.
“I saw him up at Leeds, he just loves to play and hopefully he can get some minutes.”
