Orta names the one Leeds signing this summer who is Premier League quality

Victor Orta has claimed that new Leeds United signing Pierre-Michel Lasogga is a top-quality performer who could shine in the Premier League.
The German, 25, became Leeds’ 16th and final senior signing of the summer window when he completed a deadline-day transfer from Hamburg.
Supporters are excited at seeing the former Germany Under-21 international in action after his extensive spell in the Bundesliga.
Orta explained what Leeds fans can expect from their new number nine and how he has not been signed just to replace the goals of 2016-17 Championship top scorer Chris Wood.
“I’m happy with Lasogga,” Orta told the official Leeds website. “Lasogga is a player at the top level of European competition. This is a player at Premier League level.”

“I never ask for a striker who provides me goals. I prefer a striker involved in hard work, involved in the build up gam., having a good passing game with the midfielders. A goal is a consequence.”
Lasogga, 25, is the most senior of the four strikers signed by Leeds this summer, with Caleb Ekuban, Pawel Cibicki andJay-Roy Grot all arriving on permanent deals.
It is said that Lasogga’s prospects of making his United debut against Burton Albion on Saturday, are hanging in the balance because his partner is due to give birth to their first child this weekend.
Ekuban is expected to be absent until at least November after suffering his foot injury in the team’s 2-0 win at Sunderland on 19 August.
In other Leeds United transfer news, the club have secured an out of window striker signing after agreeing the terms of a deal.
