Tottenham legend Ossie Ardiles is confident ahead of the club’s match against Southampton, despite being without talisman Harry Kane due to injury.
Spurs host the Saints on Sunday in the Premier League and will be looking to consolidate their position in the top four.
The north London club are unbeaten in their last five games across all competitions and will now turn their attention to the Premier League.
However, star striker Kane will be sidelined with an ankle injury after picking up the knock in the FA Cup against Millwall.
The 23-year-old has been a critical player for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season and scored 24 goals in 29 appearances.
Ardiles is expecting a difficult match for Spurs at the weekend, but expects them to win even without Kane.
“Tough game tomorrow at The Lane. Big test without Harry Kane. As always very confident,” Ardiles wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Spurs are currently six points ahead of fifth-placed Arsenal and are in pole position to gain a spot in the Champions League for next season.
They welcome a Southampton side at the weekend that are 10th-placed in the Premier League table and are in strong form.
The Saints have won their last two consecutive away games and scored eight goals, during victories over Watford and Sunderland.
However, Spurs have already managed to get the better of Southampton this season and recorded a 4-1 victory in the previous meeting.
In other Tottenham news, Pochettino claimed that the club’s 22-year-old needed a wake-up call.
