'Over the top' - Rangers mainstay hits out at criticism from pundits

Rangers star Wes Foderingham has hit out at the criticism that goalkeepers get from pundits after some high profile players were under fire for poor performances.
Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina was hammered for his performance in the Carabao Cup Final defeat to Manchester United, and the Gers number one is of the opinion that the men between the sticks get far too much flack from those with strong opinions.
“I feel some pundits go a bit over the top on criticism of goalkeepers” the Englishman said, as quoted by the official club Twitter account.

Foderingham and his team-mates are in a good run of form at the moment, and they will be hoping that continues when they take on St Johnstone on Tuesday night.
The 2-0 win over Hearts on Saturday saw the Gers close the gap on Celtic to six points at the top of the league table, but the gap was back to nine points after the Hoops defeated Aberdeen 2-0 on Sunday.
The Light Blues will be going into the game at McDiarmid Park hoping to put pressure on Celtic before they face Dundee on Wednesday night, but also to increase their lead over Aberdeen, which currently stands at six points.
The Light Blues won 3-0 in their last trip to Perth in October, thanks to a double from Carlos Pena and a goal by Graham Dorrans, neither of him will feature in Tuesday’s match.
Foderingham has been a mainstay of the Gers side this season with 31 appearances in all competitions and 10 clean sheets.
