Oxlade-Chamberlain backed to dazzle for West Ham next season after ExWHUemployee update - Whelan
Noel Whelan has tipped Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to shine next season if he signs for West Ham.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Leeds United striker claimed the 27-year-old would be “a great signing” for David Moyes’s side given his ability and temperament.
Speaking on The West Ham Way podcast (July 24th), ExWHUemployee claimed the Irons could make a move to sign the Liverpool midfielder on loan this summer.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been a bit-part player since arriving to Anfield from Arsenal in August 2017, with injuries severely hampering the centre-midfielder.
He has two years remaining on his contract.
When asked by Football Insider‘ if Oxlade-Chamberlain would be a smart signing by the Hammers, Campbell said: “He’d be a great signing for West Ham.

“Oxlade-Chamberlain is one of these players any manager would love to have in his team.
“He possesses an immense amount of ability. He is explosive and can be such a threat going forward.
“You also have to look at his temperament and how well he gets on with his managers. Jurgen Klopp is clearly a big fan of his and that is because he is a team player and a lovely lad to have in and around the dressing room. He is never a bit of bother.
“But he needs stability and a good run of games in a side. He needs to feel wanted. The difficulty he has got at Liverpool is that there are so many players who play in his position. I cannot see him getting the game time that he needs.
“Somebody needs to take an opportunity. If Moyes signed him and gave him a regular runs of games he would reap the benefits.”
