Pascal Struijk contacts Leeds fan with classy gesture after Sunderland drama
Pascal Struijk has sent a message to a Leeds United fan caught up in the drama of his side’s late win over Sunderland.
Daniel Farke‘s side continued their push for a return to the Premier League with a stunning late win over their promotion rivals at Elland Road on Monday night (17 February).
After Wilson Isidor had put the Black Cats ahead, Struijk twice combined with fellow substitute Joe Rothwell to turn things around and claim a 2-1 win.
The second of those goals came in the 95th minute, sparking wild celebrations which have left Leeds manager Daniel Farke facing a ban.
However, it appears one fan may have come off even worse as a result of that, prompting a response from Struijk himself.

Pascal Struijk offers injured Leeds United supporter signed shirt
After the game, one fan took to X to reveal he was in hospital after dislocating his shoulder while celebrating that winning goal.
With the supporter going on to joke that he hopes Struijk is expecting an invoice, the Leeds centre-back was quick to react.
Responding to that post, the Dutchman replied by sending his well wishes to the fan, while asking how he can help.
After being asked for a hat-trick when Leeds face another promotion rival in Sheffield United on Monday (24 February), along with a signed shirt and a hug, Struijk replied: “Let’s start with the shirt”.
With Farke’s side and the Blades currently occupying the top two spots in the Championship, that clash between the team at Bramall Lane could be hugely significant in the race for promotion.
