Paul Merson makes huge claim about Tottenham, states what will happen in the next five years

Paul Merson has made a huge claim about Tottenham by stating that they will finish above Arsenal in the next five years.
The outspoken TV pundit was talking about how Arsene Wenger’s side were “blown away” by their north London rivals last Sunday.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team put on a masterclass performance as they beat their neighbours 2-0 at White Hart Lane to keep their title hopes alive.
Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech was in fine form during the match added with the fact that Spurs missed a number of clear-cut chances in the first half as the scoreline flattered the visitors.
Speaking to the Premier League Daily Show, which aired on Sky Sports News on Friday morning, Merson compared Tottenham with Arsenal following last Sunday’s win.

“They [Arsenal] were blown away,” Merson told Sky Sports. “The distance between both teams now is boarding on phenomenal. You cannot see in the next five years Arsenal finishing above Tottenham.”
After picking up those three points, Tottenham confirmed, for the first time in 22 years, that they will finish above Arsenal in the table.
Striker Harry Kane and Dele Alli were on the scoresheet during the match as the duo have scored the bulk of the club’s goals this season.
They will be hoping to be on target once again on Friday night when Mauricio Pochettino’s team play West Ham at the London Stadium.
Spurs have the chance to close the gap on leaders, Chelsea to just one point, with their rivals playing Middlesbrough three days later.
In other Tottenham news, fans have destroyed Bobby Zamora after this West Ham admission.
