Paul Pogba breaks social media silence after source’s Man City reveal
Paul Pogba has taken to social media to share his training progress after being linked with a move to Man City.
According to the Independent, City have ‘sounded out’ the 31-year-old regarding a potential move the the Etihad but Pogba is reluctant due to his ties with bitter rivals Man United.
The World Cup winner has been out of action for over a year after being given a four-year doping ban, which has since been reduced to 18 months, while at Juventus.
Both Juventus and Pogba came to a mutual agreement in November that saw the midfielder leave the club on a free, meaning he would be eligible for a permanent move in January before returning to the field in March.
Pep Guardiola’s side are currently enduring their worst run of form since the Spaniard took over in 2016, with just one win from their last 11 games across all competitions.
Amad Diallo stole the show in the Manchester derby on Sunday (December 15) as Pogba’s former club secured a last-gasp 2-1 Premier League win over their bitter rivals.

Pogba took to Instagram to share images of his progress in the gym after City’s interest was reported, captioning his post: “Day by Day. No stop.”
City face Unai Emery’s impressive Aston Villa side on Saturday (December 21) in another tough challenge before the end of December.
Guardiola’s side have just three games remaining before throughout the hectic festive period, rounding it off with a trip to Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Leicester on the 29th.
