Pedro Neto and Chalobah react to Nicolas Jackson’s update away from Chelsea
Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson’s latest update earned reactions from plenty of his teammates amid speculation around his future.
Jackson endured a frustrating campaign last season, managing just 10 Premier League goals and going 14 consecutive games without finding the net from December to April.
While he remained Enzo Maresca’s preferred choice up front for much of the campaign, his position is already under scrutiny heading into the new season. The Blues have strengthened their attacking options as Chelsea signed both Liam Delap and Joao Pedro, increasing competition for the starting role.
Jackson was also left out of the squad for the Club World Cup final, leading to speculation about a potential exit this summer.
Last month, Football Insider revealed that Jackson is unhappy with his role at Stamford Bridge and is weighing up his future amid interest from other Premier League sides.
With uncertainty continuing to swirl, the striker posted a message to fans online, and one that quickly drew responses from both former and current Chelsea teammates.

Chelsea stars react as Nicolas Jackson remains on holiday amid transfer speculation
As Jackson was still involved in Chelsea’s Club World Cup campaign earlier this summer, the striker has been granted an extended break along with several other first-team players, and he posted holiday photos on Instagram alongside a short caption: “Levels”.
The update drew plenty of reactions from current and former teammates, including Trevoh Chalobah, Pedro Neto, and Noni Madueke — who completed a surprise move to Arsenal earlier in the window.
Despite the visible camaraderie, Jackson’s long-term future at Stamford Bridge remains in doubt, especially after falling down the attacking pecking order under Maresca.
Football Insider revealed that Aston Villa are interested in signing Jackson, with preliminary discussions already underway as Unai Emery looks to reunite with the forward and to add more firepower to his frontline.
Man United had also shown interest in the striker earlier this summer but have since turned their attention to Benjamin Sesko, leaving Villa in a stronger position should they decide to push ahead with a formal offer.
Chelsea make transfer stance on Trevoh Chalobah amid Crystal Palace interest

While Chalobah was among those who reacted to Jackson’s post, his own future at Chelsea is also uncertain.
Crystal Palace are exploring the possibility of re-signing Chalobah as part of their defensive plans, with Marc Guehi in his final year of his contract at Selhurst Park.
However, it appears the centre-back is still in Maresca’s plans. Football Insider recently reported that the Maresca is keen to keep Chalobah for the upcoming season.
He played a key role in Chelsea’s Club World Cup success, and indications suggest that other defenders may be allowed to leave before letting Chalobah exit instead.
