Pedro Neto reacts to Renato Veiga after Chelsea exit update
Renato Veiga could be on his way out of Chelsea this summer, and he has caught the attention of winger Pedro Neto amid the rumours.
Veiga has been at Stamford Bridge since last summer, when he made the switch to the Blues from Basel, for a reported £12million.
The 21-year-old featured in seven Premier League games during his first six months in West London before going on loan to Juventus for the second half of the season.
During his time in Italy, the Portuguese defender flourished, making 13 Serie A appearances for the Old Lady as they finished fourth in Serie A.

Veiga set to leave
Despite his positive end-of-season form in Italy, Veiga is set to leave Chelsea this summer, after just 12 months with the club.
Tottenham have been credited with interest in the full-back, with a move back to Juventus also being a possibility.
With his future up in the air, Veiga went on international duty to take part in the finals of the UEFA Nations League.
Portugal defeated Germany in the semis, before beating Spain on penalties in the final, and the Blues defender took to social media to celebrate the win.
On Instagram, Veiga shared a number of photos from the night, with the caption: “Good morning, Portugal,” and club teammate Neto liked the post to show his support.
Chelsea chase new transfer targets
Football Insider Verdict
With a number of players set to leave this summer, Enzo Maresca has already started replacing them, adding quality to his ranks.
Chelsea have already confirmed the signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich, after he scored 12 Premier League goals for the Tractor Boys last season.
Now, the Blues are interested in securing the signature of Jamie Gittens from Dortmund, who has impressed in the Bundesliga over recent months.
It doesn’t stop there, as Chelsea are also looking to bring in Mike Maignan, who they hope will be a long-term solution to the goalkeeping problems at Stamford Bridge.
The West London side are racing to complete both deals before Tuesday’s 7pm deadline, which would allow them to feature in the upcoming Club World Cup.
