Pedro Porro sends stunned message to Micky van de Ven after Tottenham held
Micky van de Ven got a major reaction to a two-word message on social media in the wake of Tottenham’s 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League.
After managing just 1,207 minutes across 16 appearances this season for Tottenham, the return of Van de Ven in the starting eleven will be a welcomed sight for Ange Postecoglou.
The home side fell behind in the tie following an excellent finish from Hugo Ekitike just six minutes into proceedings.
With the noise from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium behind them, Pedro Porro scored with a smart back heeled finish, after an excellent run and cross from James Maddison.
Despite Postecoglou‘s side limiting Frankfurt to just four shots across the match a place in the semi-finals is still in the balance with the scores level at 1-1.

It’s an incredible asset to have, especially for a defender. However, much like when a motorbike possess too much power other parts can start to fall apart.
For the young defender it’s Van de Ven’s persistent hamstring injuries which has sidelined him for much of this term. However after managing a full 90 minutes against Frankfurt, Postecoglou will be optimistic he can stay fit.
Despite the result, Tottenham‘s display in the first-leg will provide the team with belief that they can reach the semi-finals, and the fitness of Van de Ven will be go a long way in helping them do so.
